Q. What is a nappy cake?

A nappy cake is a great gift for new and expectant mothers. Our cakes are made from fan styled tiers of nappies stacked upon one another similar to the tiers of a wedding cake. Our nappy cakes range in size from one to three tiers. Each cake also contains other items that are essential during the first months of baby’s arrival, such as wraps which are used to hold the cake together.

Q. What kind of nappies are used in your nappy cakes?

We take pride in offering you a superb product. We use Huggies Newborns in our lemon and grey coloured cakes. We use Huggies Infant in everything else, which fit babies up to 8kg.

Q. How are the nappy cakes held together?

Our nappy cakes are carefully constructed and packed. We do not use any items that could be deemed hazardous like pins, wires or staples. We make sure our nappy cakes are sturdy enough to withhold shipping but easy enough to dismantle.

Q. Are your cakes pre-made?

Your nappy cake is created within 24 hours of your order being received. Our cakes are all individually handcrafted. Some items are subject to availability, so if an item is out of stock or does not meet our quality standards, a substitution may be necessary. Substitutions will always be of equivalent or greater value.

Q. Do you make custom cakes?

Yes we do! Our Bubcakes are made to order, and we are happy to do special requests based on our available stocked items (including our great range of Add-ons). If you’re not sure, just contact us and we will be glad to discuss your special requests.

Q. Is your checkout process secure?

Yes, definitely. We use PayPal for online transactions.

Q. How long will it take for my nappy cake to arrive?

Deliveries to metropolitan Sydney will generally be made the next business day after the order has been placed. Deliveries to other capital cities are usually made within 1-2 days of being dispatched, with regional deliveries taking a little longer. If you require an urgent delivery, please contact us on 0481 176 056 to discuss. We will do our best to help.

Q. Do you ship internationally?

No, at this time we only ship to Australian addresses.

Q. What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. You may also use PayPal if desired.

Q. What is your return and refund policy?

Bubcakes warrants that each product is sold free of defects. Damaged goods must be advised by phone or email within 2 days of receipt otherwise no claims will be accepted. We ask that you please choose carefully, as all our cakes are sold on a no refund basis unless they are proven to have been damaged or faulty. Bubcakes return policy is to exchange, refund or replace any item that is faulty or damaged and accepted by Bubcakes. We do our best to ensure our products arrive to the recipient in the best possible state, however a natural degree of movement is expected during shipping and does not constitute damage or a faulty product. We apply a fairness test to this, so if you have any concerns about how the item arrived, we simply ask that you take a photo and get in touch with us to discuss.
